Well,,, if we manage 20 people (which I think is reasonable) at $500 thats only $25 a person.

Don't know if this is the right place for it but I just wanted to compliment Todd, Rian, and all others involved in finding what appears to be a
workable solution. Those who want the one time insurance can pay for it (looks like it will be under $25) but those who don't want it don't have to
buy it and are still able to participate in the bash. City authorities would also presumably be happy that you have a pretty piece of paper that you
payed $500 for. Looks like everyone wins. I may well be mistaken but it seems like a good solution to an ever increasing WWBB. If in the future we
need to get permits from the city hopefully this type of insurance would satisfy their concerns.
Thanks to all those who participated in putting this together

Thank you Dean for the kind words and I would like to thank my sponsors Rian and Rich for putting in a huge effort to make this bash a success.
Future bashes will only get better from here on out, I can promise you that with a lot of efforts being emphasized on safety, permits and
insurance. That being said is indeed a win win for all.

With much regret I must inform everyone that it will not be possible to have the insurance in place before the WBB. We tried but all of this was just
too much in such short notice. In the future events there will be months to plan this out prior to the actual bash. Sorry to disappoint everyone.
Thanks go to Rian and Rich for the magnificent attempt.

We thank you all for the positive input on the insurance. The response on this topic was outstanding. Shows that the desire is there. Just wish we
had a little more time.
But hey, only two more weeks to go, and I am STOKED!

Rich , Todd, and whoever else helps
I appreciate all your efforts, often what you guys do behind the scenes goes unnoticed. Being an event organizer can often be a thankless job.
I guess it was not meant to be, I felt that the time frame was quite tight. I am sure you now know what it takes to get insurance and can make a
better informed decision on weather it is worth the effort in the future.
See you in WW, 2 weeks to go.

Thanks for your understanding everyone! Like buggydanny said, even though we're unable to get insurance in place for this bash, i've come away with
information necessary to make things happen in the future. ;-)
