I just picked my nose (forgive me but it was itchy) after eating a hot dog saturated in that chilli sauce:embarrased:. Now the damn thing won't stop
burning and is running non-stop. Maybe a new remedy for plugged sinuses.

So, can the heat actually damage your body or is it just a nerve thing?
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I read somewhere that when you eat the REALLY hot peppers, that it does cause a bit of chemical type burn to your insides. Kinda scary when you think
of it that way.

im just waiting for my butch t's to sprout! only planted 4, its late in the season, but i figure i'll bring them in this winter, and i'll have full
grown plants at the start of the season next year... maybe even get a few fruits this winter
:wee:
the common misconception is that hot food causes heatburn.... on the subject of spicy illness... but in fact peppers are rarely to blame for
heartburn, 99% of the time its the amount of grease in a given food or acid content... lol i get heatburn from margaritas (the acid from the lime) all
the time.... my eggs and habaneros this morning, no heatburn here... just a warm tummy that'll catch up to me later

The Szeged Paprika is the best out there. Available in better markets. It comes in sweet and hot varieties. Sweet is just that, with less heat and
the hot variety if flavorful without being too flaming. I use both in Goulash and Paprikas recipes.
I also have some of Drew's Jolakia pepper (dried powdered) and make a sauce with vinegar. Sweet, smokey and HOT. I am careful when handling the raw
powder and treat it as a hazmat.

Just found this at Fredies, had to try it. Kinda disappointed not as hot as I was hoping. But still great on chips.

do want to grow faster!
had to add a little bone meal, the leaves are scrunching up.... and i think the soil still has a little too much fertilizer in it.... if the leaves
dont mellow out soon, i may add a little nitrogen just to see if the color comes back.... but when in doubt, less ferts are better!
