I have used my set up for years with zero problems

My Captive set up

But I look forward to seeing Jeffs set up, when he's feeling better

I talked to Andreas at Kitefrog about the snatchblocks that MDK found and I have one set coming, interested in the pulley set up and the spreader bar is coming also.
Talked to the wife and she agreed to help with the pics for the QR setup I have, may even try out my new HD Camcorder. Will get it this weekend. Weather is going to be really good, hope I am to.

Jeff, that K&B Snatch block looks quality doesn't it? but not sure how to get a wichard flipped around to let go of it in an auto release set-up, but let me know what you come up with on that.

Once I get the pics the light will come on. the idea is so simple it will make you ashamed you didn't think of it sooner, at least I was.:embarrased:

What Weldngod said back on 5/10/12. I had a plunger pin style Wichard jam up on a headsail tack from sand once and it was very hard to release. That alone was enough to convince me not to hook my body to a kite with one. Wichard 2673 style with torsion spring all the way.
