Was all of this really necessary????? I like this forum because there never seems to be this kind of behavior. I have no involvement with any of the
mentioned parties, but feel someone should say it. Rip has been a very helpful and active member of this forum for a very long time, putting out a lot
for the full benefit of this sport. Whether or not there is any issue to be resolved with this gear is something that should not be handled in this
matter. Especially to be bullying a member to discuss his personal life in order to defend himself. If anyone here ever had an issue with everyone
going by their user names then I'm sure all you had to do was open a thread stating what's your handle and most everyone would openly give it. Lots of
people on this forum have formed great friendships with each other, so its only given that those people would converse with each other more than
others. But this is honestly one of the most open and friendly forums out there, and stuff like this does nothing at holding up its reputation. Rip I
wish you luck at straightening out your matters; and, hope that whatever is going on in you life that you can get back to doing what you love.

Shaggs I agree. I just thought it might lighten things up a bit when I posted my real name.
The actual issue at hand has gotten way out of hand and this should be settled else where. I am sure there must be an easy way to find out who this
stuff truly belongs to. I have no idea what ways those would be. And as I said I was just trying to lighten things up a bit. This thread had gotten to
harsh.

Thanks, Colton. You are right on.
Look, if anyone on here has an issue with my personal life, bring it on. Mano a mano. Putting it out on a public forum is weak and cheap.
PKF is a special place. I hope we keep it that way.

Agreed... I have been on many many forums, some since 2002 where I have around 40 posts. Just because I don't particularly like the community, but it
has some great articles/news posted. But this is a great forum and community. I hope everything gets resolved with you Rip, #@%$#!ty situation.

Another way to view the point to my first post in this thread is I'm tired of forum members referring to so-and-so, and I have no idea who they are.
And I don't want to go refer to some old thread to look it up; just put your name with your signature.
Obviously lots of you know each other by first name basis outside of this forum. I know some in the same way. But if you are going to have a public
forum for the public to read, don't make it a puzzle for the rest of us.
This has NOTHING to do with Rip's situation with PL. This particular topic just brought up an issue I have.

The question is not about retribution for Richard. Those issues appear to be before the courts and not for us to decide. It is about whether the
issue of ownership brought up by Brian has been resolved. I am not saying Richard's word is worth less than Brian's word, but you seem to be saying
Brian's word is worth less than Richards. Why not wait until the issue is resolved before buying? If Richard needs to do this fast, it is an impetus
for him to resolve the issue in an expedient manner.
What does Richard's legal, family, or financial situation have to do with who owns these kites? Are you saying Peter Lynn Products should bite the
bullet because Richard has problems? Is there a reason they should pay the price too?
Is it possible to design for strength, if the designer doesn't really understand what strength is?
