I should be getting there about 4:15. Conditions at sandia are 11 - 19 at 2:00.
At the SW corner of Jack London and Isabel/Kitty hawk is a field with hay bales in it. You want the field just to the west of this. I drive west on Jack London and take the first left. You can just go around the barrier or take the next street west of this is which is usually open. Just drive around 'till you see a good place. Seeya there!

Sounds good, I'll try to be there at the same time, maybe a bit later.

It was pretty fun at the field today, didn't get to explore most of it since I tried my landboard out for the first time.

I'm planning to go there for the next 3 days after work around 5:30 if the wind's up.

Has anyone checked out this site in Hayward? I was on a plane coming in on final to the Oakland airport today and noticed a very large dirt area that looked very smooth at the west end of West Winton. I checked it out on Google earth and don't see any gates. I didn't see any while flying over either. Follow W. Winton west, and as it curves to the left, there's a dirt road the heads off to the right. It looks like a quarry of some sort. Just keep driving toward the bay. Check it out on G.E. and let me know what you tho think. If anyone lives or works nearby, maybe you could check it out in person. It would have nice smooth air coming off the bay in a west, but since there are no obstructions anywhere near, it should be good in any direction!

I'll be at the Livermore field today after work, winds permitting. Anyone else?

I've been going to shoreline when time and weather permits. If you havent been out lately, the weeds have been mowed, the center path resurfaced with crushed asphalt.
