My point was, that in the past we have had some folks on here doing "surveys" etc. as their first posts, and it turned out to be either someone phishing for info on how/why to get kiting banned in certain areas, or an insurer looking for reasons to raise rates, etc. Like anyone else that is a member of this forum, or lurks here on a regular basis, fusun can glean the info pertinent to her interests as well, but if you or anyone else has issues with your sig other, they are best kept between you, IMO.

Thanks again Steve.

Sean I take it a bit further and deeper than time balance and risk assessment, it's a matter of mental space and what occupies it a majority of the time .

But you know Sean, you make a good point and it's worth knowing... By appearances she does seem legit IMHO. So let's ask... Do a bit of reality testing rather than speculation:

Fusun, tell about your kiting tenure?... You said you're a newb, but what can you tell us about what you've done, what you're interested in and any plans?... Just to add legitimacy. Please remember it's not an attempt to run you down, just a question to seek to understand WHO we're talking to.

And what's your personal motivation behind this project?

Remember too (I'm not saying this to be ugly) failure to answer may be very detrimental to your credibility.

I don't know if anyone remembers samurai jack, but it was a cartoon from around 10 years ago. Excellent series my son and I watched a lot.

Bear in mind, this doesn't have anything to do with this thread any longer but jut my searching for siren song :)

Ssayre - dang, I live inland! The Great Salt Lake may only be a 30 minute drive from me, but I fear its Sirens just won't hold a candle to these Vixen of the open ocean. :(

Now that was funny!!! :spin:

kontent is king !, you will get some.

we are here to help people with their avocation---> kiting.

personal insights with an interpersonal relationship is personal and a human condition behavioral conundrum in general. So intel here will be biased, (thats not helping YOUR interest in relationships) and you may get some experiences revealed for sure, mostly cliche, very common and INDEPENDENT of avocation.

perhaps this forum http://www.psychforums.com/narcissistic-personality/ though this site is defiled with commerce it attracts the desperate and their clicks. face to face is best for therapy AND real insight. well written help is out there but challenging for weakly committed and personal judgement clouds action and understanding...this was a tangent, but may help someone

the unique forum here is AD FREE, which is rare, and somewhat detached from social media and contributing to face-twit-tubeland stream(with personal details) just really is not the scene here...except if you can throw a mobe 7 like a boss!

we all find exasperating moments, and the selfish reactions we encounter where individual motivations are mismatched in interpersonal relationships. This is part of an important coping mechanism revolving around and within commitment, compromise and respect that we WANT to give to our partners. the ancillary attractant activities like "cool folks who kite like beasts" are part of the package. pretty much the same as being attached to a fancy car or deluxe apartment in monaco. those who are UNWILLING to let these "things " go, may be poor candidates for commitments for your SHARED personal human experience. without sharing happiness the affect is lost.

cool azz pics! ..stay on topic and PATIENCE will deliver the answers you seek....kinda like life.

for kiting your are in the right spot ! and GREETINGS!

Opening up with a relationship survey to a group of mainly middle aged dudes is kind of a tough sell. Really nothing specific about kiting that applies to the topic. There's lots of weather dependent hobbies. We'd like to hear about your kiting adventures though.

Totally agree we are unbelievable ;)
