OH MY GOD! people do not understand kiting. when you try to explain to people that you do indeed need different size kites they have no clue why. I'm still going to sell and buy a pansh but when i told my dad he's like you don't always need the newest and the best. I KNOW I DONT BUT THATS NOT WHAT IM DOING!!!!!! if you could get a better car and all you had to do was sell your old one then you probable would. its like hey dad i have 2 kites go on the kite forum and look at other peoples kites 5,4,6,7,5,8,4 I am at the bare minimum. I tried to tell him its like windsurfing you need different size sails for the wind conditions. Its the same with kites! but hes like "then just kite in the right wind" but then i cant kite when i want to. I know im preaching to the choir but it is so annoying!!!:evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil:

The Pansh kites are a great way to get started with a full set of kites. Depends on how far you want to go. I just dropped a large amount of $$$ on another 8 kites, these will be for myself on top of the list already in my sig, Problem is I want to go faster and am close to the limit that my current gear will take me. So far I seem to have hit a wall at 45mph with the Broozas, I've hit it with both the 2m and 4m kites. While it may be possible to break 50mph with them, I don't think they'll take me to the 60mph+ I'm after, they're fast, but not up to par with the race stuff.

Full set of Combats should be at my door any day, now all I need is a shiny new Hardcore.

Back on topic, you really have to take a guess at how far you want to go with this sport. OK kites are great for cruising and having fun, Freestyle and Race kites are much more specialized, The Blades are second to none for lift/power, Full race spec kites like the Combat, RM+ and Yakuza as well as a handful of others are truly hard to beat for speed. Unfortunatly you gotta pay to play.

I'll say it one more time:

You can get get cheap and good,
You can get good and fast,
You can get fast and cheap,
But you'll never get good, fast, and cheap.

Yeah i don't think i want to go that fast on my buggy. It would fall apart. Maybe when i make it more buggy like then a landsailer. I was looking at a prototype of a pansh kite and it looks really cool. It may not be a prototype anymore but it was grey with only like 15 open cells. The opening was outlined in flourecent green. Twas cool lookin.

THats what I got ..infact I am of the mind set if one works just get different sizes of the same one.....I have found that the 5.5 is a tad to big...it gets over powered easily....but the 4.5..yeee.. I had my best day yet with that thing...and their lines have improved a bit......I like the legend.. they are ok ..very predictable...my next will be the ace though...
