bloah,

This adjustment will make your kite more stable. It is explained in the owners manual on pages 50-53(at least in my new manual). I only fly mine at the coast, so have no idea what winds you have to deal with inland. It may be that you will never be happy with it conpared to a PL.

If this turns out to be true, then I'm willing to take the kite off your hands. If you buy a PL to replace it, be sure to get at least a 15m or 16m(whichever size it comes in). A guy here has a Phantom 18m, and it has no more power than my 13m P3 at best.

By the way, does the kite have the 5th line safety added? Plus in my book for solo handling.

I know it makes no difference when compared to performance but back when I got my Phsycho 2 what I was MOST impressed with was how it was clear Flysurfer put a lot of money into the build of the kite. All those extras to protect your canopy and all the fine workmanship. A leap above any other kite I had seen before or since

Peter Lynn is a visionary and a Hero !
His approach is far more simple. More simple and cheap to build but by no means inferior!

It is the extra workmanship and attention to detail that allow me to pay a bit more for Flysurfer guilt free ! By nature of the build of the kite arcs should be and generally are cheaper in cost .

Both Fly quite different and both have strong points. I could see myself being happy with arcs. I would probably go to them if I had gusty inland winds or was on a super tight budget. But for now I think my love affair with my Pulse will have to last for a while longer!

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.

Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
