I don't get what makes a bar so expensive. Its just not very complicated of a thing, at least it shouldn't cost over 200.

Well for what it's worth, it does appear to have a lot of engineering into it with adjustable width, new safety at the chicken loop, adjustable throw.
And they all come with 3m line extensions. But yeah I blinked too and I kinda knew it was coming.

Looks like the Navigator is only $315 if you get it with a new Charger. That seems pretty reasonable to me.

the bar is supplied with lines
the Twinskin Bar RTF is $ 390.00 USD
its its only 90.00 more if you think about it.
it would be nice if they ship Kite + Bar ... I could use my old lines.

Am I correct in the opinion that any long throw bar will get the most out of your new Charger ?
That the zero 7 bar will work but you won't get the most of the kite ?
Would it not be possible to just put a kit on your zero7 ( or other 4 line bar) to make it long throw? I think Best sell a kit for 1 or $150 ???
Any chance P.L. will sell a kit to upgrade your Zero7's throw ?
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

@Bladerunner: as the chargers new bridle is basically the old VPC system with added pulleys that double the steering impulse (afaik), i am quite sure
that any normal kitesurfing bar with long throw will work fantastic on the charger. i am using a SLE naish 2009 bar for my scorpion. works fantastic,
see my youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7EBwSDB5mg .
Kites:
Tubes: Ozone Zephyr 17 * Naish Helix 2009 10.5 qm * Cabrinha Access 2003 9qm * Wipika Hydro 2001 9qm *
Arcs: PL Scorpion 13, 16 qm; PL Synergy 10 qm
open cell: PL Twister I 7.7 * PKD Buster II 3qm
Paragliders: Gradient Bright Classic (with check) * Swing Mistral 1 (groundhandling) *Advance Alpha 3 (groundhandling)

It was while watching that video that I saw what looks like the perfect bar to me. I'm glad you spoke up.
Naish know their stuff
I am too lazy to check but I doubt your bar goes for the price the Nav' is reported to be ?
I have to think that with VP3 and a stiffer kite you should see huge improvement even on you old P.L. bar?
I think the Nav' has it all. I would hate to think that people may shy away from a great kite because they can't afford the bar .
I doubt there will be a substitute for the Charger but I see options for controling it ?
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.

well, the naish bar is not bad, but it hase imho some drawbacks:
1. the swivel does not really turn (maybe if you put some special weapon oil on it)
2. if the swivel would finally turn, the yellow safety line that goes to one frontline would tangle around the depower chord. if too often wound
around the depower , a would be afraid that it would not properly work if quickreleased.
but otherwise, i really like my naish bar. and you can often get it on ebay for a bargain.

Yes, although it's just called the "Twinskin bar" bar now, as they don't associate it with a year anymore.

go big or go home
the windrange for the 15 and the 19 are nearly the same. I like bigger kites than smaller ones (same thing applies for me when buggying with short
lines) ....
a. im light so ill float more
b. i've pushed the 15 / 16m arcs to the limit and than some, so the windrange is WIDE.
c. i was looking at the low end more than the high end
d. i plan on kitesurfing for the winter months (thx BR for the Drysuit) GP just became my new sandbar "the ring".
Lets ride!!! CHARGE!!!
