That thing looks crazy stable. One thing we love to do here in the winter is ride in places that are difficult to get in and out of. Like narrow
rivers, through channels an gaps in trees etc. The type of flying that requires a lot of technical skill and effort on the pilot's part. This offers
that same kind of challenge. Good solid technical flying.
Keep up the good work.

When I first watched it, I had the volume off because I was looking at it while getting the kids to bed,... I just watched it again with the music and
LOVED how the whole feel of the vid changed... that Peak looks like it does really well on handles!!
Sean, does the Peak have pretty long bridles? Looks like it from the video, or do you have a few meters of line on the handles? Nice video. Great
footwork too!
@Spencer: Thanks, the music is a Bach song done by Edgar meyer on the bass. Unfortunately it's banned in Germany for copyright.
@Randy: I was using 5 meter lines as usual. The bridle probably adds another 10' but I haven't measured it. It flies extremely well on handles.
It's most excellent being able to change the angle of attack and also having a direct "feel" you only get from handles.
Can't go wrong with a peak 6m. They cover about the same range as fb 3-6 meters which is great when you have those really wacky wind days. Lately the
peak is all I've been using in the buggy because it makes kite choice easy as long as there is a decent breeze.
Testing one of Susan's NPW's. winds 7-14mph. My normal camera was dead so I took a couple pics and video showing its stability on 5m lines and bar
with my phone. It worked very well on a bar with 2 lines. I longboarded for an hour and it worked perfectly. Their are subtle differences between
it and the nasa star 2 that I normally use but it flies very well in 2 line mode and works very well for streetkiting. I'll get some video while
moving next time. Side lands/launches just fine. Susan prefers quad mode on handles but her kites like both 2 line and 4 lines mode.
Thanks, I don't have brake lines on at all. I have the bottom (brake) and top (power) bridle leaders attached together in the larks head of each
power line
its a remake (reproduction) . can't remember the original maker. BMW had one very much like flexboardz design.
Perhaps you are thinking of the CarveBoard (you'll see vids of the board running either pneumatic wheels on a 43" deck or PU wheels on the smaller 34
inch deck called the Surfstick) depending on how much grip/slide the rider is looking for).....

Sam, that carveboard looks cool and looks like they still make both versions.
I'm still intrigued by the onda longa which will become available July 3rd. I think at my weight, I would be better served with the aluminum wheel
versus the plastic. It adds $40 to the price. The wheels seem like it's the most positive and negative. Good that they are large but bad that you
can't replace the PU by itself and it looks like you replace the whole wheel when they wear out.
Looks like a fun day but you really should pad up and wear a helmet. I saw a kid smash his teeth out yesterday in the skatepark. While only a full
face would have saved him it just goes to show that accidents happen. If you haven't fallen recently on the street, you will eventually and it will
hurt. Elbow, knee pads and a helmet are a wise investment. I can't even imagine throwing a 180 or even a speed check without my pads. I just don't
feel comfortable without them and push myself way harder when I know I'm protected.

Good advice B-roc. I don't push my speed near as much as I would with pads. In that regard, I'm almost safer without them in a weird way. Also, I
can't get the courage to slide without the kite. The kite acts like a parachute. Even when I wipe out backwards, it breaks my fall to a very
tolerable level.
I knew you would. So do I. I could be wrong on where he's from. I ran across his stuff on XK. I thought the freebord would have too much side slip
until I saw his video. I'd love to try one. They aren't overly expensive at $219 but I would much rather find one used or at least try one out
before I bought new.
